After training she began clinical practice at a larger tertiary care and transplant center in Oklahoma City where she provided both inpatient and outpatient consultative services in Endocrinology. She attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and then completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Prior to attending medical school she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
